Bring Ohio’s Prehistoric Past to Life—Right in Your Classroom!
Looking to spark curiosity and excitement in your students? I offer engaging, in-person educational programs that explore Ohio’s rich prehistoric history—designed specifically for 2nd to 5th grade students, with a focus on 4th grade curriculum standards.
With 32 years of experience as the Site Director at Fort Ancient Earthworks and Nature Preserve, I bring a unique perspective and rare artifacts right to your school. Students will get hands-on with both authentic and reproduced items, comparing tools, jewelry, and clothing from prehistoric and historic times.
It’s fun, educational, and unlike anything they’ll get from a textbook. Let’s make history unforgettable—one classroom at a time.

Our Programs
Step back in time with a hands-on educational experience led by archaeologist and educator Jack Blosser, who brings over 30 years of expertise. These immersive programs let students explore what life was like for American Indians in Ohio between A.D. 1700 to1730—just before and after European contact. Through interactive displays, storytelling, and moral-based lessons, students gain a deeper understanding of history in a way that’s engaging, educational, and unforgettable. These programs can be adapted for an individual classroom or expanded to include a large number of students. Programs can also be adapted for any age.
